Hans Thore Smedbold is a
senior advisor and researcher at Proactima and writes a series of articles on
occupational hygiene measurements. The first article has already been published
in the “Yrkeshygienikeren” and is about basic statistics.
In the
series there will also be published articles on reviews of eg. compliance with
governmental limit values, measurements below the detection limit, long-term
exposure to carcinogenic, mutagenic and reproductive toxicants and new NS-EN
689.
Hans Thore has also prepared a spreadsheet “YH-HELP” to help assess measurements. The spreadsheet is free and can eventually be downloaded via the website for Norwegian Institute of Occupational Health – www.nyf.no
The publication
“Yrkeshygienikeren” has three editions per year. The next edition comes in October.
