Comprehensive risk management is about working with what is important for the business, ie prioritizing correctly in an everyday life with major challenges and with limited resources. The purpose of comprehensive risk management is to ensure the right balance between developing and creating value and avoiding accidents, injuries and losses.

This course provides an introduction to how to set up a framework for risk management in your own business.

Proactima also offers courses in risk management and risk analysis with credits in collaboration with the University of Stavanger. The courses are part of an experience-based master’s degree in risk management and safety management. Contact us for further information.

Objectives

After completing the course, the participants will

• have an increased understanding of risk management and how the company can implement this in its business.

Target group

The target group is decision-makers in land-based industry, the offshore industry and public administration; project managers, line managers and project staff, as well as people who work with risk analysis and risk management.

Form of learning

The course can be taken as a pure e-learning course or combined with a final classroom meeting (recommended). The course will then be completed as “Blended Learning”, and is divided into two main parts.

The theoretical part is carried out as individual e-learning. Part two of the course is conducted as a gathering day where the central theoretical topics are discussed, and where the participants work with case assignments.
