The course satisfies Aml § 6-5 requirements for training of safety representatives and AMU members.

The course provides a solid theoretical foundation in HSE, while always keeping focus on how to plan and carry out HSE work in practice.

Participants will learn about:

• HSE laws and regulations
• Establishing HSE plans
• Challenges within health/work environment, external environment and safety
• Various tools and methods

Objectives

Upon completion, the participants will better understand the importance good HSE work is for society, the business and the individual, while at the same time, have a strengthened motivation to work with HSE. This is done through learning and reflection on important topics such as:

• Concepts within HSE
• Important principles for management and HSE
• Goals and models for HSE
• Target groups
• Leaders at various levels in the organization who work with risk management

• “Blended learning”
• Individual E-learning – 8 hours
• Assembly 8 – hours

Target group

The target group is all employees in the Norwegian oil industry, subject to the Norwegian PSA’s area of ​​responsibility.

Form of learning: E-learning.

Time used depends on previous experience and existing level of knowledge. Average course completion is 10 hours.
