Proactima was founded in 2003 by Hermann Steen Wiencke and Richard Heyerdahl. We have had 20 years of risk management, civil protection, HSE and sustainability in combination with steadfast values.
Proactima came about in 2003 for the purpose of “helping customers manage their own risk”. While the wording of our mission has been updated to “We will contribute to a safe and sustainable society”, the intention behind it is the same as it was 20 years ago. And our values, integrity, competence and balance, remain as solid today as they were 20 years ago.
2003
Proactima is established in Stavanger by Hermann Steen Wiencke and Richard Heyerdahl.
2006
HSE Academy is established, now known as Proactima Learning. We offer a wide range of e-learning courses and customized classroom education and training.
Proactima Project Services is established as a wholly-owned subsidiary.
2007
Office in Oslo established.
Proactima Project Services is established as a wholly-owned subsidiary.
2009
Office in Bergen established.
Office in Trondheim established.
2011
Acquisition of Occupational Hygiene Solutions (OHS). Acquisition led to considerable expansion of activities.
Office in Trondheim established.
2013
Proactima Solutions is established, and the journey toward UXRisk, now known as Dmaze, began.
2015
UXRisk is launched, now known as Dmaze. This is our proprietary software for risk management, that digitizes management, risk and compliance processes.
2019
Digital Solutions is established as a separate department. Software and e-learning courses are scaled up.
2020
Merger with Lilleaker Consulting. The merger significantly strengthened our technical and operational consulting team.
2021
New corporate strategy. New growth in existing and new markets.
2023
Digital Solutions department is transferred to Proactima Solutions AS.
