Be more active!

This is part of Wenche Brenne Drøyvold´s philosophy. Wenche works at Proactima’s office in Trondheim and is heading up the work within health and working environment in the company. Wenche has published the book “Klar – ferdig – gå”.

She has written a different book, with professional grounding and at the same time seasoned with many everyday experiences through easily accessible texts. Through the book, Wenche wants to give the reader knowledge and inspiration to be more active in everyday life.

“Today there are many experts who speak out, and sometimes I get the impression that we should call an expert to know how we are doing,” says Wenche and smiles. She takes the floor for increased everyday activity and wishes through the book to inspire readers to be active, each on their level.

Activity gives better health

The first two chapters are written as a refill for the reader, while the next chapters are a recipe for getting started. Wenche emphasizes that a good everyday life must consist of different ingredients, including physical activity.

“Activity is important to everything. Everyone knows that it is good for the muscles and bones, but we should also remember that daily activity fills in with good ingredients in the blood. All of this contributes positively, also to our mental health”, says Wenche. And she speaks with considerable academic weight, with a PhD in social medicine.

Wenche transfers the knowledge of physical activity to apply to all types of organizations. A company must be in good physical shape to cope with the challenges. Both privately and in a job context, you need to be aware of the development areas and decide to make a change. It will contribute to a more positive everyday life!Interested? First in Norway with ICS e-learning course

As the first Norwegian company, Proactima launches an e-learning course within the Incident Command System (ICS); an e-learning course that is adapted to Norwegian practice in emergency preparedness management. The course is in English, which means it can easily also be used by Norwegian companies working internationally.

– We have adapted the course to Scandinavian conditions which makes the course extra attractive, says Trygve Eeg Tunes, Head of Emergency Preparedness and Crisis Communication in Proactima.

Many people have already completed the Proactima course and the feedback is positive. During the coming weeks, the ICS-200 course will be launched, also as an e-learning course. Together with EMCI, Proactima offers all types of ICS training, both at basic and advanced levels.

EMSI is a recognized international ICS provider and collaborates with Proactima on these services. For several years Proactima has supported companies in the petroleum industry with ICS and the establishment of emergency preparedness for complex and long-term incidents.

Risk management in change processes

Recently, Richard Heyerdahl from Proactima made a presentation at the Field Development Conference in Bergen. He talked about risk management in change processes; a topical issue in an industry where extensive change processes are being implemented.

Heyerdahl talked, among other things, about principles for good risk management and the connection between cost reductions and events in the petroleum sector. He showed among other things to Proactima’s project for Petroleumstilsynet (report from June 2018).

The Field Development Conference is an annual conference, which was arranged in Bergen. The conference focused mainly on work processes leading up to concept selection and innovations in technology, implementation strategies and new forms of cooperation.

Heyerdahl is founder and chairman of the board of Proactima AS.

Frame agreement with Sporveien

Proactima is entering into a frame agreement with Sporveien. Proactima will provide services within the management system, security and emergency preparedness.

“This is a very important agreement for us and fits in well with our goal of strengthening the company within the transport sector”, says CEO Trond Winther in Proactima. The agreement has a considerable breadth and includes security management, process mapping, security analyzes, emergency preparedness and exercises.

Long-term agreement
Proactima has also previously worked for Sporveien, but then as a subcontractor for another company. In this competition, Proactima reached a separate agreement, which shows that the company’s previous efforts have been positively noticed by the customer.

The agreement was effective from 1 February and has a duration of 4 years plus four options, each for one year, ie a maximum of eight years.

Sporveien
Sporveien is Norway’s largest supplier of public transport measured in number of journeys. Sporveien owns, manages, develops and operates all traffic on tram and metro in Oslo and Akershus, and operates buses on tender. The Group is also responsible for the maintenance of trams and subway trains, and manages substantial real estate. Sporveien also owns the subsidiaries Bussanlegg and Sporveien Media.

The company has 260 million travelers every year, 115 train sets, 72 trams and 759 buses. Sporveien is 100 per cent owned by the municipality of Oslo.
